    Vehicle Details
This auction is for a 1949 Cadillac Series 61 Sedan project. Arizona car that hasn't been touched since the license plates expired in 1978. The motor is complete from fan to flywheel. It turns by hand (I’ve never tried to start it). It’s just a cool old Cadillac with a lot of potential. The car could be restored, or used as a donor for another restoration. It has the original 331 V8, with optional Hydra-Matic transmission. Other features include push button radio, antenna, dual under seat heaters, glare proof rear view mirror, backup lights, windshield washer, and door edge guards. The previous owner installed a "Frigi-King" under dash a/c system some time in the mid 50’s, and it’s still intact. I doubt it would take much to get this old car running again. There is no evidence of accident damage anywhere on the car. It's actually pretty solid for being 72+ years old. The only place I found rust was in the passenger front rocker panel... which also affected the leading edge of the floor under the sill plate. The bumpers, grill, and most of the chrome polished up well. The car is missing the following miscellaneous items: front/rear emblems, back seat, taillight/turn signal lenses, gear shift knob, horn button, and fender skirts. None of the glass is cracked, but the windshield does have fogging. I can’t open the trunk, but can see from inside its empty. Someone in the 70’s did a cheap paint job, and it’s just flaking off everywhere. The original paint color was #10 French Gray, the interior was #37 Gray Dual Cord & Broadcloth. Not many restorable 49 Cadillac’s left (even sedans). I’m including an original set of five 1953 Kelsey Hayes wire wheels. They need to be re-chromed, but are hard to find. Please look at all the images, and message me with any questions. AZ title is clear, and ready to transfer. 0.00 non-refundable PayPal deposit required within 24 hours. The remaining balance to be paid in full within 7 calendar days. Balance can be either cash in person, certified bank check, or PayPal (plus 3% fee). For International bidders; PayPal is the only form of payment accepted. The car rolls/steers, and I can assist with loading. Buyer to arrange pickup or shipping. Funds must clear before vehicle is transported. As always, thanks for looking.
