The shield says (loosely translated): "and they drank another before they went", or, "one more thing before they went"
Impressed on the bottom: "Musterschutz 16"
on the lip near the lid handle attachment: "0.5"
Height: 7.0" tall  ~  Weight: 1.0 lb. 5.60 oz.
Great condition: no chips, lid works well, looks barely used.
