New Authentic Hofbrauhaus (HB) "Salzglasur" 1L Stoneware Stein/Mug (sold elsewhere for )
Hofbrauhaus Oktoberfest gray stoneware beer mug 1 Liter (33.8oz) with cobalt blue glaze HB crown decoration.  Unique salt glaze finish and hand-applied handle. Salt glazing is a unique process and involves throwing salt into the kiln during firing.  Thus variations or darkening in the finish are normal and make each stein one of a kind!
Manufactured using traditional hand craftmanship, hand-turned, hand-painted, salt glazed and fired in the oven. The Keferloher is a barrel-shaped, gray, salzglasierter stoneware stein. Due to the insulating effect of the ceramic, the beer stays cool longer, due to the addition of salt during the firing process, the carbon dioxide stays in the drink longer and the beer stays fresh longer.
