Offered here is one of the best on the market ballpoint refill, the 575 / 75 by Schneider, also called the A2 standard that fits most vintage and many new ballpoint pens. This de-facto the most popular and used refill size in the world, made in many many Billions and possibly coming close to a Trillion. Its been in use for decades and just resists to change. The refill features a waterproof ink, perfect for any job. Super high precision with 0.6mm line, M medium width line, steel front ball-tip ensures no skipping and constant smooth writing. These are also called "long slim metal refills" and are the standard for most of the European brand pens for decades since the invention of the ballpoint pen. Some European brands (vintage and new) that use these refills are: Pelikan, Lamy, Montblanc, Reform, Rotring, Fend, Waterman, Kaweco, Senator, Diplomat, Aurora, CdA and others. Please note that this is not always the case as there some periods and some models of each manufacturer that uses their own specific or other type of refills.
*NOTE...
There are very similar refills to these, nearly identical in size/length and looks but have a wider front tip, the X20 Standard. Those X20 refills will NOT fit most vintage ballpoint pens as the tip of the refill is wider and cannot pass through the front tip/section/opening of the pen. The X20 refill has 2.3-2.5mm tip as opposed to this refill's 1.6mm font tip.
