I have here a
Brand New Stainless 22 oz. Steel Water Bottle “ACTUARIES” Black with Carabiner Clip
.
My husband (an actuary) got these water bottles at some actuarial meeting a few years ago and they were so nice, I thought we might use them so tucked them away in a cabinet (and there they have sat for the past few years).
As we haven’t used them, it is time to pass them to someone who will.
They are
absolutely brand new, never used
. I have two but will list them separately in case someone only
wants one.
I am fairly certain they are made of stainless steel as they are very sturdy and aren’t lined with any sort of coating on the inside.
There are no markings as to the manufacturer.
They are shiny/high gloss black outside and in white writing on the side it reads, “
Actuaries - Risk is Opportunity
”.
I filled them with water to the bottom of the neck of the bottle and they held about 22 oz. of fluid (might hold 24 oz to the very top).
They stand about 9 ¾” tall with the cap on (8” without the cap).
It has a very wide opening (mouth) at the top, about 1 ¾” in diameter, for easy fill and pouring.
The cap is a black plastic screw-on top has a big with a built-in opening (to loop your finger in) with a Carabiner clip in it.
The clip makes it very easy to clip to belt loop, backpack or anything else.
It’s a great water bottle, a GREAT CONVERSATION PIECE for all your actuaries or aspiring actuaries and certainly unique!
I bet it’s the only “ACTUARIES” water bottle on your next hike!!
