    ITEM DESCRIPTION: An older full-color 32 liter Gerz pottery stein with hand-painted relief scenes.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This is the biggest beer stein I ever came across.  German sayings on the top and around the bottom. A Gerz trademark is on the bottom. A great addition to your collection, this stein will display nicely and demands a prominent spot. The pictures don't even do this stein justice, it is truly monumental and definitely a conversation starter.
    CONDITION: In very good condition. There is an old hairline crack in the handle (see pic). It is not broken through and it isn't glued.
    FLAWS: Minor wear, as found.
    AGE: Unknown.
    MEASUREMENTS: About 44 1/2" tall including the lid and 14" across the bottom. 32-liter (about 8.45 Gallon) capacity. The lid alone weighs 3 lb 5 oz. The total weight of the stein is over 40 lbs.
    COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Germany.

    This item is listed for local pick-up only but it can be shipped for around $ 250.00 to $ 350.00 depending on location. It is heavy, bulky, and fragile, a lethal combination for shipping. I'd prefer it to be picked up if possible to avoid damage, it is hard to replace. I'd even consider delivery if it's not too far to drive.
