Beautifully stitched, completed, and framed colorful
Alphabet sampler with basket of fruit and border of strawberries and flowers
.
This piece is framed and ready to hang.
A traditional sampler design that would make a perfect house gift.
Includes one upper case and one lower case alphabet and a band of numbers with birds and strawberries as small motifs. On the bottom is a basket of fruit. The inside border is a simple green sawtooth. The outside border is a very colorful traditional band of vines, leaves, strawberries, and flowers. See photos.
Colors include red, yellow, orange, green, and brown. Stitched in 1981 by EJM.
Cross stitched and backstitched throughout.
Framed in a brown wooden frame with gold colored trim.
Frame measures 13" x 17". Sampler measures 9.25" x 13.25".
Frame and sampler are clean with no nicks or stains.
I will build a box for mailing this to keep it in the excellent condition it is in now.
