This beer stein was found without the pewter lid, no wear around the pottery it would have rubbed against which makes me believe it was never there. On the bottom only, is a flake crack on the edge, it does not go through to the stein interior, and cannot be seen, as it is on the bottom. It will hold any liquid. No other damage, no wear. No marks other than a "5" inscribed on the base. This stein stands 6" tall by 5" across. Selling as found
