Picked this up at a Warehouse sale that shipped pallets of merchandise
I was told that this is a 1/2" strapping / crimping / banding tool
When you measure the bottom area where the metal strap would sit when open...it is just slightly over 1/2" across
I took pics showing
the fully open position, the measurement from the side showing the gap between the teeth when open, etc.
This measures 15" in total length from crimping head to tip of handles
