Intelligentsia Imperium Inks has an indeterminate beginning stretching back many centuries. For generations we have supplied the intelligentsia and aristocracies of Europe and the Americas with the very finest handcrafted dip and fountain pen inks. Throughout that time, our supply was strictly exclusive but has since been made available to the public as of February 2020. This unprecedented move as a company has allowed purchase of these once inaccessible inks to the serious scholar, statesman, diplomat, theologian, dreamer, innovator and visionary.
For countless years we have been at the forefront of ink chemistry all the while firmly maintaining strict handcrafted traditions resulting in the finest range of writing inks in existence today.
Originally spawned in the days of alchemy, passing through the enlightenment of the European Renaissance and finally through the illumination of today's understanding of chemistry, our methods of ink synthesis, formulation and analysis/characterization is second to none.
Our dedication is purely directed toward ink creation. We know a tremendous amount about the pens that house and deliver our precious inks. We know a great deal about fine paper, as these constitute the ultimate resting places of our inks. But we do not however pretend to be the be all and end all of writing in its entirety, as some others may. For centuries our dedication has been ink alone and always will be.
Each unique sealed bottle is entombed in a beautiful elegant box with paperwork. The numbered paperwork declares the inks authenticity with a number which matches the number on the seal of the each bottle.
A wonderful eye for detail which also speaks of the quality of the ink.
