    Description

    Up for sale is an awesome Early Old Antique 1930’s 8 spoke exterior Goldsmith Sporting Goods (see stamping on back left panel) VINTAGE thick Brown ALL Leather Football Helmet. Helmet measures to Adult size 7 1/4 model number 60- must see all photos - front thick padded leather with all stitching right and complete (interior eight spoke harness with center pad - awesome shape - see several photos ; note - you can also see the Deep Goldsmtih Sporting Goods stamping on the back left leather panel; stitching tight and thick and clean throughout - great overall look! This is a very cool 1930's adult size 7 1/4 all thick clean and sturdy leather football helmet! As the photos show, the helmet is in very nice overall shape! There are a few gridiron battle scars and add to the cool eight spoke chocolate football harness/thickly padded (see all photos for condition)! The leather is soft and supple and still holding up very strong for being close to 85 plus year old - wow!!! It has a great shine and awesome look! The intimidating brown patina is 100% worn original. The leather interior of the helmet is in super good condition and as you can see has the thick leather interior and exterior 8 spoke harness which denotes the higher quality and craftsmanship (includes the foam head display stand as well!!). It is all present and is high quality shape and condition; especially for helmets of this era. The helmet is size 7 1/4. This very cool antique thick thick brown rare all leather football helmet would look killer displayed in your home, office, den or sports room!
