    Description

    The market for Mosca PL-1 Traymasters is rarefied and very specific. I had four used units in the past and sat on them for a few years. I ended up selling them for a song just to free up my capital. One of my good customers (that I had offered the four units to on multiple occasions) decided that they wanted to automate. I had sent my four units to Virginia a few months earlier.
    I knew of one unused Traymaster in the Detroit area and was able to buy it and sell it to my customer. they then decided they urgently needed a back up unit. I received calls from all over the country from dealers looking for a used Traymaster to sell to
    my
    customer. The customer ultimately found a dirty, dingy unit with over 8 million cycles for K on the internet. Guess who got to clean it up and install it? This guy. The company then sold out to Pitney Bowes Presort Services and they have an account at Mosca and their own service techs. Darn cheap Fed money. Big companies gobbling up my customers!
    I traded the three Traymasters in this listing for a couple of new Fusions and will hold them until the day comes that someone is desperate and my individual price for them will far exceed the lot price I am asking for all three. In the meantime, I am offering them "as-is, no warranty" at a discounted lot price because I loath having stock that is not "out there" and listed on the net.
    Unit #1 is a 2001 model with about 1.14 million cycles. The removable head can be sent to Mosca for a rebuild and that usually happens around 3-5 million cycles.
    Unit #2 is also a 2001 model and has 518,144 cycles.
    Unit #3 is a 2003 model with 321,020 cycles.This one is a baby.
    Being three phase units, I have not been able to test these but the customer I got them from is reliable and simply shut down their big, Pitney Bowes sorter. They came from working environment.
