For purchase is a very colorful McCoy #9618 13 + ounce stoneware beer mug made in U.S.A. This pre owned beauty features a large colorful scene of a German horse drawn carriage/coach making a stop in a German village. The main scene shows the coach driver taking a drink out of a HUGE mug. The 2 side motifs, surrounded by wreaths have German phrases, which I roughly translated as
"So here and there is a solid drink in a good old way, Recreation is a stopping point in our way of life."
You get the idea. The coach horseman was really thirsty. This heavy duty ceramic glazed mug is approximately 6 1/2 inches tall, 3 3/4 inch base rim, and 2 3/4 top rim. It holds 13 plus ounces of fluid and it weighs over 1 pound, 13 ounces before box and shipping material added. There are no chips or cracks anywhere on this item.
