    Description

This is a nice, solid pair of men's Vintage Black Label FRYE campus-toe boots, size 8 D (medium width).  Moderate wear to these vintage boots.  I understand that these boots were made in the mid-late 1970s.  Style number 2550 - camel brown color.  They have 2-1/4" heels.
    Lighter camel brown-
colored leather foot and lined leather shaft.  Frye Style #2550.  No original box.
These boots are in fairly good used condition and have some moderate-heavy scuffing at the toes and many small surface nicks in various parts of the leather uppers and shafts.  Some of the small nicks have been covered over with shoe polish, while a couple of these near the top of the shafts have been covered over with what looks like paint or something.  Rear of the shafts has a little more moderate wear at the wrinkles.  Moderate wear to the soles and heels.   Slight separation between the layers of the leather soles at the inside arch of the boots.  The stitching thread has come out from about the top 1-1/2" of the outside of the right boot.  Please see all pictures.  Inside shafts of the boots are in excellent condition, as are the insoles.   Insoles and upper stitching are in good condition as well.  Top opening of shafts measures about 4-1/4" in diameter.  Please double check this since shafts that are too narrow can be uncomfortable.
Soles measure 10-3/4" long and 4-1/8" wide at the widest point.  Shafts are almost 12-1/2" high, not including the 2-1/4" heel.
These are nice, solid boots.  The main issues are the surface nicking in the leather, scuffing at the campus toes, and the thread coming out of the top of the shaft.  I would even consider sewing this by hand, but you may want to get them professionally sewed.  I'd rate these boots a 6 out of 10, mostly due to the scuffing and small nicks.
Frye boots last a long time and only look better with age!  These are great-looking boots and in one of the more widely sought-after colors, too!
Package will weigh between 4 and 5 lbs.  Boots will be shipped via Priority Mail.  Shipping to the West Coast can be fairly expensive.
If you wish, I can squeeze them into a Medium Flat-Rate Box to help save on shipping costs.  Shipping to the West Coast can be fairly expensive.
Thanks for looking and GOOD LUCK!!!
