    Description

    The Mettlach stein offered is a 1/2 L capacity with a height of 8 3/4” to the top of the lid. The mold number is 1353. The scene is a very decorative flower design in a high glazed finish. This stein has silver plated brass lid. The silver plating has worn away. There are no cracks or chips on the stein. I have been told that these steins with this style lid were originally exported to England where silversmiths fabricated the lids for the English market. This stein is a great addition to any advanced collectors collection.
