    Description

    Mettlach Beer Stein Tankard 1526 A. M. D. A. Chicago 1909 Date 1909. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.  This German tankard was in grandpa’s collection.  The stein is heavy, weighs 1# 8.9oz.  Metal top, probably pewter, fits and closes easily.  See picture of stamped Mettlach logo on bottom of mug. Side of mug has a 1/2L stamp.  Blue mark under glaze also on side of mug.     Slight discoloration on back of mug with brown marks, under the glaze.  See slight color change at hinge as pictured.  This antique deserves a new home.  Item will be well-padded and shipped quickly.
