comes the Mettlach series The Mettlach National Heroes plate collection.  Pictured is the “William Tell” etched  plate, which features the Swiss freedom-fighter. The William Tell plate was the first in the series and was originally issued in 1981. The diameter of the plate is 8 1/4”.  The reverse of the plate has the

back stamp. The plate is in new, factory fresh, mint condition.  There are no chips, cracks, or damage of any kind.

The edition was limited to the production for the year.
Each plate was accompanied by an identical etched beer stein, which is not included in this auction.
The etched plate is in perfect, factory fresh, mint condition.
