Description
Here's a rare jacket worn by a football official or referee as a member of the EIAFO (Eastern Association of Intercollegiate Football Officials) and the PIAA (Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association). So the owner could officiate at both high school and college level football. It is beautifully made in cream/white wool with black and white cuffs, waist and black buttons. Three original patches including a vintage American flag patch, all original. Original woven label in neck by the famous Mitchell & Ness Company of Philadelphia, dates to the 1950s. Size 42 tag. Excellent condition overall, a few small moth holes/nips to back. Elastic on cuffs and waistband is strong. This is a very rare and brilliant jacket.
