This listing is for a musical German stein which is without lid. Firstly, this stein is in a lovely glazed condition with little to no signs of major wear. Additionally, it is without the lid but does still have all of the mechanisms needed to play. Also, the musical does work. You must crank it first and then place it down and it will begin to play. Overall, even without the stein lid, this item is a great piee of history and does promote the Hops and Malz industry with its decorated exterior.
