    Description

    Offered is this beautiful porcelain regimental beer stein with pewter lid.
    The bottom is marked with "Made in Western Germany." It has a lithophane that can be seen when the beer has been consumed (see second to last photo). Measures about 9" tall including the train lid and 4.5" in diameter across the bottom.
    This piece is a family heirloom that my late father picked up when he was stationed in West Germany in the late 1970's or early 1980's. The lid sits on top a little crooked and there is one small spot of gold paint that has worn off (see last photo). Both of these items have been like this for as long as I can remember. Some very minor wear on the pewter lid as to be expected with age. Not perfect but such a beautiful piece that would make any collector proud!
