    Description

We have a pottery stein that was made in the time period after World War 1. The stein is a 2 L and is 15 5/8” tall.  The scene is of a large group of people in a tavern. The manufacturer’s mark from the company Marzi & Remy Grenzhausen Germany with the mold number 1742 is impressed on the base. The lid is made from pewter. The stein has no chips or cracks. I think that this is a very unusual stein and makes a wonderful addition to any advanced collectors collection.
