We have a German silver tankard that has a weight of 715g. This tankard is 7 ¼” tall and is done in a
Repoussé style of metal work. The detailed scene is of a lead man on horseback with dogs on the hunt for a stag. There is a gold wash on the interior that is intact. The gold wash which is also on the handle and ball feet is worn a bit. The touch marks are a little hard to see clearly. It looks like a 925, crown and half moon. The condition nice and needs a good cleaning and polish.
