Stunning '50s Youth Football Jersey w/ Rawlings Tobin Rote Helmet + Uniform

I'm offering for purchase this three-piece '50s era 'Chromium Mining' Football Uniform. I know this uniform came from my Great Uncle, but the story behind is lost with his passing. I'm not 100% on whether 'Chromium Mining' was a sponsor for a local youth or school team, or whether it was a company affiliated team, but I can say that he lived in Chicago Heights, Illinois, if that helps pin this down. Doing a search for Chromium Mining brings up
very
limited information for me, and I hit a dead end.
With that said, this uniform has an incredible look, and I couldn't find
any
historic examples of a collared zip-up football jersey shirt with embroidered lettering on the back online. That tells me it's at least somewhat rare and unique for those collectors and fan historians out there.
Without further ado, now I'm going to break down each piece in detail.
The Helmet
The helmet is what helped date this uniform, because the football player, Tobin Rote, had a career that spanned between 1950 and 1966. This helmet did see a little use, so you're going to find some wear marks on the crown, in particular. It has a cream on red coloration, a stitched border, and steel rivets, which do show a little surface wear, and a plastic facemask. Inside the helmet, you'll find it's lined with leather padding, and it has canvas webbing, still in excellent condition. The leather is flaking from age, which isn't a great suprise. This helmet doesn't have a chin strap, though it does have the connection points for one, hypothetically. All-in-all, it's pretty nice for a helmet that saw a little use, with no cracks or dents.

The presumption is that the 6-5/8" / Small Size makes this a 'Youth' Helmet, and that would make this a Youth Uniform, but I was a little shocked at how long the pants were. I'll get to that soon enough.
The Jersey
Right out of the gate, it was obvious this football jersey shirt is
unique
. From the zipper to the collar to the incredible felt stitched-on 'CHROMIUM MINING' on the back, this red/white/blue shirt deserves to be on display, honestly. I' m assuming this jersey was at least a little whiter when new on the sleeves and collar, and I say that because the pants are stark white, but I could be wrong. The fabric is a little stretchy, though I don't know what it's made out of without a label. Note that there's a little wear mark near the zipper, but other than that, this jersey shoot looks barely worn!

The Pants
If the jersey looks 'barely worn,' the pants look like they've never been worn. I mean they literally look brand new, never used. If we had to nitpick, I found a few little dirt marks on the pants from the decades of storage, not the field. I'm not confident in my meager fabric cleaning abilities to tackle them though, so I'll leave it to your more capable hands if you choose.
