    VERY EARLY GERMAN STONEWARE BEER STEIN
    This is a nice old stoneware beer stein from Germany.
    It has a deeply embossed design of a King straddling a barrel with a mug of beer and vines covering the remainder of the surface.
    It is a nice old authentic beer stein with a flat pewter lid which has a small dent in the surface.
    It is a early stein with the swirled maker's mark from handturning in the bottom.

    It measures 9-1/2" tall and measures 4-3/4" diameter at the base.
