Vintage Antique MENS Edwardian Victorian 2 Tone Hook Shoes Boots C. 1910 THAYER

Description

This is a FANTASTIC estate sale find! Antique men’s shoes from this period are very rare!
They are made by THAYER. They were actually sold by a store in Bethany, Mo. named G. W. CUSTER.
They are very well made! The leather is very high quality. The soles are leather as well.
They are two toned. The lower is black. The upper is a taupe color.
By looking at the soles it looks that we’re not worn a lot. The only wear to speak of are the uppers.
They are hooks and eyes.
This is not the original shoe lace, but it is vintage.
Each has the cotton tab at the heel to aid in putting the shoe on the foot.
The interior bottom is kind of soiled. Somehow pine needles got in the shoes!? I have cleaned as well as I could.
I have included measurements in the photos.
These would be a wonderful addition to a Victorian Edwardian collection!
