    GERMAN BEER STEIN w/Knight on Horse Following Strolling Couple
    This is a nice old pottery stein from Germany.
    It has an embossed colorful design depicting a knight riding a horse with two other riders following a strolling couple.
    It is brightly colored with a cobalt background.
    The handle is open woven limbs.
    The pottery is a cream color.
    The German words embossed around the lower edge roughly translate to:
    "Drink Brother Drink until the missing one sinks."

    It is stamped GERMANY in the bottom which is very deep.
    The words roughly translate to
    "One heart heals some pain"
    It measures 9" tall and it measures 4-1/2" diameter at the base.
