Vintage German Puzzle Beer Stein Tankard with Lithophane Nude Woman

What we have here is a large German puzzle beer stein. It has holes around the rim, so it is impossible to drink from in the normal manner. The handle is actually hollow and functions as a straw. The beer passes through the handle and to the first hole on the lip rim. To perform the trick, the drinker needs to actually draw the drink through the hole rather than trying to pour the beer all the way up to the mouth of the stein. On the outside, there are German men and women in traditional folk dress doing a lot of beer drinking. When you hold the stein up to the light, however, the inside reveals a nude woman visible through the bottom of the stein. It measures approximately 7 1/4" high and 6" wide including handle (4 1/2" wide not including the handle). The underside is marked with a hallmark that looks like the initials "L P M". This mug is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs.
