    Description

    VINTAGE STONEWARE BEER MUG
    This is a nice old pottery mug from Germany.
    It has the logo of a wood
    barrel with
    a spigot
    and the name Brauerei Aying. It also says "Gruss aus Munchen" over it and PLATZL Munchen underneath, all in blue.

    These are from a huge lifelong collection, many of which were displayed in a German themed tavern called Stein Haus which has been closed for over 4 years. Much of the collection was purchased in Germany beginning in the 1960's during military service and continuing with many buying trips abroad afterwards.
    Having reached retirement age we have made the decision to sell the collection so that others may enjoy them. We will be listing thousands of antique items including stoneware mugs, beer steins, beer glasses and other wonderful beer and wine related items, many very unique.
