    Description

Up for sale is a vintage Westmoreland Aqua Blue Chicken or Hen sitting on a Basket Nest. This could be used as a trinket box, small candy dish or salt cellar.  It measures approximately 3 ½ inches long, 2 ½ inches wide and about 3 ¼ inches tall. The “W” symbol is visible on the inside of the basket. This comes from an Estate and is in great pre-owned condition with no issues found.
Please take a look at all the photos for they are part of the description and provide additional details.
I try to describe all my items for sale as accurately as possible and to the best of my ability. All items are sold “AS IS” and all sales are final.
Please expect normal wear from age, use or time in storage on all vintage items. Condition is a matter of opinion. Please view all photos for details that I might have accidentally missed or not mentioned. You need to make your own determination as to the condition of the item. Please notify me if you have any specific questions and I will reply within 24 hours or sooner. Any obvious defects will be noted in the listing. Photos are worth a thousand words. On most of the items for sale, I am not the original owner. All items are stored in a smoke and pet free home.
Items in photographs may vary from their true colors or shading due to lighting or camera glare.
Please keep in mind, that immediate payment is required for all “Buy It Now” items.
On all Auction items, payment is required within 2 days of close of auction.
Combine Shipping: I will be happy to combine ship items when possible.
eBay has recently required all Sellers to change from PayPal to eBay to process all payments from Buyers.  Unlike PayPal, which credits the payment to the Seller immediately; eBay’s has a
    minimum
of 1 day processing time BEFORE the funds become available. Thus, I have no option but to change my processing time to 2 days! Scheduled shipping days are Monday thru Fridays (excluding weekends and holidays).
Items are shipped in the following way:
    MEDIA MAIL
: Is only available for Books, DVD and CD’s.  Please keep in mind this is called “Snail Mail” because it can take up to 30 days for delivery, which is why it is the cheapest! There is no Insurance available for this delivery service.
    FIRST CLASS REGULAR MAIL
: This is used when an item is small and will fit inside a standard envelope. Please Note:
    NO TRACKING
will be given because the Post Office does not tract envelopes!  No Insurance will be added on this item, unless requested and invoiced prior to payment.
    FIRST CLASS PACKAGES
    :
Please be aware that there is
    NO
Insurance on anything that is shipped with this!  eBay calls this “STANDARD SHIPPING” in the listing.
    PRIORITY MAIL
    :
    This has
    INSURANCE
in the normal amount of unless otherwise stated. eBay calls this as “EXPECTED SHIPPING” in the listing. Packages valued at 0 USD or more, will be shipped with signature required.
    On
    ALL SMALL FRAGILE
    i
tems, where the weight of the item and packing material is under 13 ounces, I will give the Buyer the option of choosing either First Class/Standard Shipping or Priority Mail/Expected Shipping.
With the understanding if First Class is chosen, no refunds or returns will be accepted EVEN if the item arrives damage in any way!
This option is given because so many buyers have requested cheaper shipping options!
All items are shipped to the address provided by eBay/PayPal with your payment.
    On Insured Items:
Your package is shipped with insurance, unless otherwise stated. If you want additional insurance, please let me know prior to paying and I will be happy to adjust your invoice to reflect the additional charge. If your package does arrive damaged (which is very rare!) Please keep all the packing materials & box. Be sure to take photos of the damage. According to the US Post Office rules the
    addressee
(which is the Buyer) is the recipient of the claim. Which means ONLY you should be filing the claim!  If you must file a claim, you can do so via their website. Please DO NOT send the item back to me, because that will invalidate your claim! I am always willing to assist with filing a claim. Keep in mind, it will DELAY your refund, for I can’t refund the money until I receive it from the Post Office. I do wrap all fragile items very carefully – starting with tissue paper, then bubble wrap and extra packing material to insure as safe a delivery as possible. On sets, I will double box certain items for safety!
    Sorry, but no international shipping.
Please remember to leave positive feedback when you receive the item and I will be sure to leave you positive feedback as well.  All items are sold “AS IS”, unless an item has been grossly misrepresented.
**Please Note: eBay will charge and collect any required Sale Tax on all orders, when the Buyer lives in a State that has a Sales Tax, as required by law. As the Seller, we do not set the tax rate nor collect the tax; but rather eBay does this automatically and they submit the tax directly to the appropriate State**
