  • Condition: This lovely young girl picture from the 1960's Northern Paper Mills ad is in good condition. The frame does have some marks on it and the one side is darker. It looks like maybe it had to be replaced. Check my other Northern Paper Mills picture auctions. These were originally done in beautiful pastels. There is a water mark on the back, but it does not affect the picture. It is not signed, but I do believe it was done by Frances Hook. 11" x 14". Look carefully at pictures.

    YOUNG GIRL YELLOW FLOWERS 1962 NORTHERN PAPER MILLS TOILET TISSUE FRAMED
    In 1958, Northern Bath Tissue introduced the "American Beauties" girls in its advertisements. The portraits were painted by the artist Frances Hook and first appeared on the associated packaging in 1959.
